Technical project leader on an access system for Fiat Europe products at Continental for SERMA Ingénierie

“SERMA helped me with my in-house relocation from Paris to Toulouse. I appreciate the consideration given to the staff. “

I joined SERMA Ingénierie in 2007.

I was based in Paris and began my mission at Renault, where I worked on utility vehicles for 2 years. I continued to further my career by working on developing electric vehicle battery control units. This was an extremely interesting job that enabled me to work on an innovative product and take on new responsibilities. After spending 7 years at Renault, I wanted to change jobs and regions to enjoy a better quality of life.

SERMA helped me make this change and offered an opportunity at Continental in Toulouse.

For just over a year now, I have occupied a position similar to my last one at Renault, but on the supplier side. I’m working on the “passive entry/start” access system for Fiat Europe. I am the interface between Continental and the customer. Once the customer requests have been received, I make the calculations, set up the schedules and oversee the resources from design up to final validation of the system. This multi-discipline position gives me numerous responsibilities and enables me to work on a constantly changing project.

I have now been working at SERMA for 10 years. I appreciate the consideration given to the staff, the possibilities for development, internal mobility and the highly technical nature of the challenges proposed. I am enjoying my new life in the very pleasant Toulouse area, situated as it is between the sea and the mountains.
